Administrative History	A parish council for Minshull Vernon, consisting of 7 councillors, was first convened on 19 December 1894. In 1967 it was extended to include the neighbouring parishes of Leighton and Woolstanwood, and renamed "The Minshull Vernon and District Parish Council".
